Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Shadow Companion, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Shadow Companion is an AI-guided reflection service operated by True Path Consulting Australia (ABN 76 442 507 308). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Shadow Companion provides AI-guided reflection conversations designed to help users explore unconscious emotional patterns, shadow archetypes, and personal growth themes. The service is available through a web-based chat interface and offers both free and premium subscription tiers.

Accounts and Authentication

To access premium features, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may restore access to your account and subscription by logging in with Google or using the member login restore access feature.

Subscriptions and Payments

Shadow Companion offers premium subscriptions processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe
• You authorise Stripe to charge your selected payment method for each billing cycle
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• Top-up message purchases are one-time charges and expire at your next billing cycle reset

Free Tier

Shadow Companion provides a limited number of free reflection messages. Once the free allowance is reached, a premium subscription is required to continue using the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Shadow Companion to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the operation of the service
• Use the service for purposes other than personal reflection and inner work
• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any part of the service

AI-Guided Reflection Disclaimer

Shadow Companion uses artificial intelligence to generate reflective responses. The service is intended for personal exploration and self-reflection only. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, medical advice, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your area.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology within Shadow Companion — including text, graphics, software, and AI-generated responses — are the property of True Path Consulting Australia or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this content without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Path Consulting Australia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Shadow Companion. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Shadow Companion after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Shadow Companion shall be resolved under Australian jurisdiction.
