Subscription Terms

Premium / Unlimited Access

An active subscription unlocks Shadow Companion Premium / Unlimited Access, including premium AI chat and reflection features, journals, dreams, Journey reflections, Psychological Landscape, archetype insights, Pattern Reports, Weekly Integration, Daily Koans, Map of Consciousness, and other premium features made available during the subscription.

24-hour Taster

New users receive a one-time free 24-hour Taster with Premium / Unlimited Access. It begins when activated, requires no payment method, does not automatically enrol you in a subscription, and ends automatically after 24 hours.

Google Play Subscription

Android purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Before you confirm, Google Play displays the applicable price, currency, billing period, introductory offer or Free Trial, and when paid billing begins. By confirming, you authorise Google Play to charge the payment method linked to your Google Play account according to those displayed terms.

Free Trial

Eligible users may receive the Google Play Free Trial configured for the subscription. This Free Trial is separate from the 24-hour Taster. Unless cancelled through Google Play before the Free Trial ends, the Google Play Subscription automatically converts to paid recurring billing at the price and frequency shown by Google Play. Google Play determines eligibility and may limit an offer to eligible accounts.

Web Subscriptions

Where web subscriptions are offered, Stripe processes the payment. The applicable price, billing period, and any introductory offer are shown at checkout. Stripe does not process purchases made inside the Android app.

Recurring Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the price and billing frequency shown at purchase until cancelled. Prices or plan terms may change only as permitted by the relevant payment provider and applicable law, with any required notice or consent handled through that provider.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancel a Google Play Subscription through Google Play subscriptions. Cancel a web subscription through the Stripe billing portal available from Shadow Companion account settings or contact support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so Premium / Unlimited Access remains available until then unless the provider states otherwise. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Shadow Companion account does not cancel a Google Play Subscription.

Restoring Access

Subscription status is restored automatically when appropriate. Android users can also select Restore Purchases while signed in to the Shadow Companion account they want linked to the Google Play Subscription. Web subscribers should sign in with the account associated with their Stripe checkout or use the web restore-access option.

Refunds

Google Play purchase refunds follow Google Play's refund process and policies. Web purchase refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. These terms do not limit rights available under applicable consumer law.
